The Kew Pagoda, as seen last week during a day of alternating sun, rain, hail, wind, anvil clouds, blue skies and Belgian beer. Typically unpredictable British weather, but not representative of this exceptionally lovely winter, which has been crispy cold and dry, most of the time, and far more cheery than what I've grown to expect.
All the same, I look forward to Spring -- happy in the knowledge that bugs and flowers will be exploding forth in their numbers -- and the inevitable field trips that this will entail.

Nice, and a lot sunnier than when we went. Even so, roll on Spring -- and indeed Summer!

Beautifully composed, and the colors are stunning. Great shot!

It's nice the way the tree mirrors the pagoda. I'm also looking forwards to those lazy bugs coming out of their hidey-holes and having their photo taken.

I never would have guessed that this was in the UK. Glad you didn't have too many beers so that you could keep the camera level :)

If I remember right, this was t-minus 20 minutes before we were hit with the hailstorm. Wow, great pic!

Such detail and color. I love this one... it's like a postcard!

It's almost painful to see how bright blue the sky is (in a good way, mind you). Lovely shot, almost a little surreal with the colours (which personally, I like).

Interesting to see unusal architecture in harmony with nature.
I like the strong green and blue color mix within this picture.
