People present themselves to others in a dazzling array of different ways; while the previous model was colourful in her own fashion, this one was violently pencilled in to suit the not-so-subtle image she was trying to project. I can't look at this and not be reminded of the superb grimace of Terence Stamp in his most famous modern role outside of Star Wars, Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

EDIT: Thank you to voters for choosing this image as a Photo Friday Noteworthy in their 'Attractive' challenge - I never expected a second image to make the grade in a consecutive challenge, but really appreciate its going down well. Thanks again!

This is really fantastic, Al.

The light is just perfect here, well done.

Brilliant, just like Priscilla Queen of the Desert!! I hadn't made the connection to Star Wars either! Such a versatile actor!

Have you noticed that the eyes and the mouth are the tools of the trade for drag? It's truly an art in and of itself. The gestures of the mouth can bring the walls crumbling down. Fabulous darling. And the subtlety of a gurl not wanting her hair wet :)

This is one of the best drag people/portraits I've seen. Your tones and colors are perfect. I like the tight composition so we can focus on all the great detail. All of this would have been lost if you took a few steps back. Well done.

Fantastic picture. It makes me think of Hedwig's younger sister, the one with the softer edge (if she had one that is).

Yikes. "Harsh" is right, and yet compelling to look at. The pencilled in lips really makes the expression.

ah, i missed london pride this year unfortunately. well, i went to cologne pride in germany which was equally as good. and soon it's brighton pride which is always fabulous. :)

it's good to observe. fierce on the ol' lip-liner she is.. tones and lighting is nice.
